CCR Equestrian Terms and Conditions, Including Privacy Statement
Patrons of CCR Equestrian assume full knowledge, understanding and agreement to the following:

Terms and Conditions
The management has taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone at CCR.

For those measures to be effective everyone present must take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents.

CCR will accept no responsibility whatsoever for any loss, injury or damage to any person, or their property or animal, whilst on CCR premises.

No claim, or correspondence in respect of any claim, will be entered into arising from any incident, accident or injury to any person, animal or property at CCR.

We strongly advise all clients should ensure that they, and their animals, are fully covered by third-party insurance.
Instructions given by any official or member of staff must be obeyed.

All instructors using CCR for teaching purposes are responsible for providing their own insurance, child protection certificate and first aid training. The use of CCR by an instructor assumes that these requirements have been met.

Any person responsible for a stallion on CCR premises must take adequate precautions to ensure the safety of others and should inform management that a stallion is present.

A hard hat to current British Standard EN 1384 or PAS 015, with a correctly fitted chin strap must be worn at all times whilst mounted, and is advised at all other times whilst handling horses.

Body protectors are highly recommended.
Correct dress must be worn at all times. Arms should be covered and correct footwear must be worn whilst mounted.

Any person or animal acting in a dangerous manner may be asked to leave the premises. Excessive use of whips or spurs, foul language, cruelty or abuse will not be tolerated and will result in the offender being eliminated and asked to leave the premises.

Management reserve the right to refuse or limit entry if deemed necessary, without giving a reason.

In the event of a concussion, which may occur without the loss of consciousness, riders are not allowed to remount. An examination from a medic should be sought.

All dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all times. All mess must be collected and taken away.

Please do not muck out trailers or horse boxes on CCR premises.
Please clear up any mess your animal makes.

Please take all litter away with you, or deposit in a litter bin.

Any person found damaging, destroying, vandalising or stealing CCR property or premises will be asked to leave the premises. Costs will be charged to the offending person(s) and prosecution may be initiated.

CCR may engage the use of a photographer. By hiring you agree to CCR using images (still and moving) of you and/or your child(ren) for advertising, marketing and publicity.

Any vet/paramedic cost must be met by the injured party.

No lunging at any time on CCR premises, unless an area has been specifically hired to do so. Hire of an arena for lunging must be made clear at the time of booking.

The arena must be left in the state it was found, unless previously agreed with management.

Spectators who attend events for which they must be located within the arena do so at their own risk. Spectators will be in the arena with animals which may pose a danger, and whilst CCR will take sensible precautions to increase safety, spectators must accept the risks are entirely their own.

All horses/ponies present on site must conform to vaccination requirements and may be asked to leave if this cannot be proven. Equine passports must be presented on request.

Please pick up all droppings in the arena before you leave and please take any rubbish with you. Any droppings left in the arena after the hire will incur a £10 charge.
Any breakages to equipment and or facilities must be reported to a CCR staff member and must be paid for before leaving. Any unreported breakages will incur an additional charge of £30 per unreported item.

Any booking at CCR assumes full agreement to the terms and conditions.

Vaccination Policy
All equines brought to CCR must be accompanied by their own identifying passport which must be presented on request by any member of staff. All equines must remain on their transportation until vaccination checks have been carried out unless otherwise advised. Horses cannot attend within 7 days of any vaccination.

EQUINE FLU VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS
We have a 12-month policy of vaccination. Horses may attend after the first two inoculations of the initial course, and any time thereafter, as long as all subsequent boosters (the third in the initial course, then annually) have been administered within the required timeframe. We do however ask that you check the day, month and year to check that no dates have gone over; if a horse has gone over by a day then it is not covered.

Cancellation Policy
For hires and clinics, 48 hours cancellation notice is required in advance of hire date. If less than 48 hours notice is given, the full cost of the hire/clinic will be charged.

CCR Show Rules

  • No refunds for classes will be given without 48hrs notice before the closing time of that event.
  • Assistance only in the 40cm and 50cm.
  • A maximum of 8 horses in the warmup.
  • Jump the warmup fences facing the red tape on the right.
  • No horse should be stood around in the warmup for safety reasons.
  • Please if your horse is waiting around be on the left-hand side of the arena on the beach sand.
  • Horses not in tack should be in a bridle, not a head collar.
  • There is no tolerance for abuse towards the staff on this property.

Below we describe how we collect, use, disclose, transfer and store the information you provide to us. Please note that this policy is subject to regular updates.
Information CCR collect

CCR will process data collected for the purpose of facilitating your registration on the basis of legitimate interests to deliver the service for which you have registered, included in this it will also allow us to keep you informed of offers, important updates and changes to timetables.

CCR collect the following personal and non-personal information to deliver, measure and improve our business:
Personal information: When you make a booking with CCR, you may be asked for some personal information to provide you with the desired service.
Non-personal information: CCR log information about your use of CCR services and facilities
CCR does not buy in data from any third parties.

Sources of our data
CCR collects data from the following sources:
Data is either stored on a secure server or PC. Any paperwork generated or collected is stored in a secure, locked and alarmed office. All financial paperwork is stored for 7 years where after it securely shredded.

Modifying your personal information
CCR provides you with methods to modify the personal information you provide to us. Certain information we are required to retain by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Protection of your personal information
CCR takes reasonable measures to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, theft, disclosure, alteration and destruction. However, no method of transmitting or storing data is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of the information you provide to us. CCR restrict access to personal information to only those employees (or self-employed contractors) who need to know that information in order to deploy and maintain CCR records. These individuals are bound by confidentiality agreements and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations. Certain contracted and authorised contractors do have access to our networks for the purpose of maintenance. All access is monitored and logged. All personal information is stored securely. All networks, computers and servers are password and firewall protected. Paperwork is only stored in secure offices. Please note that some parts of CCR’s online presence allow you to post personal information that may be publicly accessible, viewable and collectable by anyone, so please take care when using these features.

CCR’s policy towards children
CCR does not knowingly collect personal information from users under the age of sixteen. CCR do, however, allow users under the age of sixteen to use certain features or areas of CCR that do not involve the collection of personal information, aside from certain computer or mobile device information that may be collected as necessary to the operation of the website. All users are required to provide details on booking, and under 16s are required to supply guardian’s details, CCR cannot be held responsible if they provide their own. If you become aware that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us and we will take the steps needed to eliminate such information.

Third-party websites
CCR website may contain links to third-party websites. CCR are not responsible for the information collected by those third parties and we encourage you to read their privacy policy before submitting any personal information to them.

Horse Welfare Policy

We here at CCR Equestrian take Animal welfare very seriously and we ask that all those that attend the shows and arena hire must follow the BHS guidelines for horse welfare, for more information CLICK HERE.
